David is SVP and the Head of NBA Investments, the corporate venture arm of the National Basketball Association. He has been leading the NBA’s efforts to make strategic investments in promising partners that help the NBA innovate on & off the court. David previously co-founded two different startup studios, one as part of SK in the chairman’s office and one with the Head of Private Equity Group at Bain & Company NY, where he previously worked as a strategy consultant. He also spent time at the early stages of Coupang and Nexon, which have since become decacorns. David received his bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
