Sara currently serves as co-CEO of TMJ, one of the first athlete representation agencies in the world dedicated to women’s football. TMJ's roster of 200+ global talent encompasses professional footballers, coaches, legends, analysts, and personalities in the women's game. In her role, Sara leads business operations of the agency as well as commercial opportunities for TMJ's talent. In 2021, she was named a co-owner of the North Carolina Courage of the National Women's Soccer League and in 2025, became a co-owner of Liga MX's Querétaro Fútbol Club.

Before TMJ, Sara was a Managing Director at underdog venture team, offering strategic marketing services focusing on sports and entertainment with clients that included TelevisaUnivision, Major League Baseball, and Major League Soccer. Sara was previously Vice President of Sponsorships & Brand Engagement at Wells Fargo overseeing a soccer portfolio of MLS and the Mexican National Team that included integrated TV campaigns that made international headlines, activations featured in a Sports Illustrated cover story, developed the first Spanish language demo app to promote mobile banking at sporting events; and ran the first real-time English and first Spanish-language social media campaigns resulting in thousands of new customers for the bank. Her sports business background also includes business development for a startup lacrosse franchise; partnership marketing for MLS/Soccer United Marketing, and labor relations for MLB.

Raised on the South Side of Chicago, Sara earned her BA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and an MBA from NYU. She currently serves as a U.S. Soccer Advisory Council member, an advisory member of the University of Florida's Institue for Coaching Excellence, and is an inaugural board member for Latinx in Sports.
