Speaker Bio
Charlotte North is a professional and international women’s lacrosse player, an emerging leader in women’s sports worldwide, an ESPN broadcaster and a budding sports entrepreneur.

Charlotte grew up in Dallas, TX, where she played middle and high school lacrosse, among other sports. She started her college lacrosse career at Duke, and after two years transferred to Boston College.

At Boston College, Charlotte won a national championship in 2021 and was runner-up in 2022. She won the Tewaaraton award – given each year to the single best college male and female player – both years. She set NCAA records for most goals in a career and in a season.

As a member of the US women’s national team, so far Charlotte has won 4 gold medals in 3 different lacrosse disciplines: sixes (World Games in 2025), field (World Lacrosse women’s world championships in 2022 and the Pan-American Lacrosse Association championships in 2025), and box (the World Lacrosse women’s world box championships in 2024).

Ultimately, Charlotte hopes to play for the US women’s national team in the 2028 Olympics, when the sport will return to the games after a long absence.

Charlotte was the first player selected in the Athletes Unlimited pro lacrosse league draft in 2022. She led the AU league in scoring during each of her three AU seasons and set several league records.

As an ambassador for the newly formed Women’s Lacrosse League, Charlotte played a prominent role in announcing the formation of the WLL live on ESPN and at the NASDAQ closing bell ceremony in late 2024. Charlotte was named captain of the Boston Guard, one the four inaugural WLL teams. She led her Guard team to victory in the inaugural WLL Championship Series in early 2025. The WLL will begin regular season play in 2026.

Charlotte began her ESPN broadcasting career in 2023. Since then, Charlotte has been a principal commentator on multiple high profile women’s and men’s games, including NCAA and conference championships. Charlotte also debuted her own popular YouTube channel in 2025.

She launched her own sports business – Charlotte North Lacrosse – in 2021. CNL principally provides both in-person and online lacrosse training. Throughout the year, Charlotte conducts 10 or more clinics around the country (and some small group training sessions in the Boston area) to help players of all ages and skill levels raise their games. CNL online training allows players to conveniently access a large and growing library of instructional videos in which Charlotte breaks down key skills and drills. Her app also provides a welcoming and supportive online community where players can engage with Charlotte and each other. CNL also sells branded apparel and equipment. Charlotte is sponsored by Gait Lacrosse, whose equipment she has used throughout her career, as well as [Lexus, Yeti,] Maybelline, Gatorade, Whirlpool and Dick’s Sporting Goods

Charlotte is actively seeking and exploring new strategic opportunities for herself and CNL. Her vision extends beyond a single sport and contemplates a career that could involve high-level business participation in different sports and entertainment ventures.
