Thayer Lavielle is the Managing Director of The Collective at THE·TEAM, a global platform she launched in 2019 to drive greater investment in women across sports, entertainment, and music. She leads a global, cross-functional team operating across eight regions, working with brands, leagues, teams, and governing bodies to translate industry-shaping research into actionable commercial tools—ranging from investment frameworks and go-to-market strategies to partnership models and fan engagement playbooks. Under her leadership, the team’s work has helped unlock almost $1B in new investment supporting women as athletes, creators, executives, and fans. Her work has been recognized across the industry, including honors as a 2026 TBJ Women in Business honoree, 2025 Adweek Most Powerful Women in Sports honoree, a 2024 WISE Greater Raleigh Woman of Inspiration, a 2023 Colgate University Trailblazer of Distinction, and a 2019 Sports Business Journal Game Changer.
